Pictures From The Fire

This is what remains of Courtney's bed - and where we would have found her body if she'd been asleep in her bedroom.

Below is the upstairs hallway - bathroom door on the left, Courtney's room on the right. The original
colours were white and butter yellow on the walls and trim.

This is the office. The windows blew out from the heat, and have been boarded up. The monitor melted
along with other items, and smoke damage is extensive.

This is the bathroom - it used to be entirely white. The insulation came down when the ceiling did.

This is Carol's room. The smoldering mattress and other furniture was sprayed down and tossed.
Windows boarded up here, too. The walls were a very light yellow, and a cream carpet.

The newly refinished stairs bubbled with the heat, and paint melted from inside the ceiling to drip
onto the steps. There is a lot of warping and water damage now as well.

This is part of Courtney's bedroom. As you can see, all of her possessions were destroyed.

This is another area of Courtney's bedroom. The closet doors are completely gone - along with all
of her clothes.

This is Carol's bedroom television. If you look closely, you'll see that it has melted down the
back of the once-white dresser.
